The Care Travel international health insurance is tailored to the needs of business and private travellers from Germany and Austria staying up to 365 days in the Schengen States and worldwide. Care Travel international insurance can be used for longer vacations, to visit your family, but also for business trips. A work experience project outside the scope of vocational education, participation in Working Holiday or Work & Travel programmes can be covered via Care Travel international insurance.

What are the insurance benefits?

The benefits cover outpatient, inpatient and dental treatment by all licensed physicians worldwide at the normal local fees. In addition, this international policy covers repatriation costs for medical reasons.

What does the insurance cost?

The insurance premium under the Care Travel international health insurance policy depends on the duration and age and the country of stay. For those between 0 and 60 years old, the premium for 1 day amounts to € 1.91 (for travels to USA, Canada, Mexico: €3.82 per day). For the 61++ years old, the premium for 1 day amounts to €8.07 (for travels to USA, Canada, Mexico: €16.14 per day). Under this tariff there is a deductible from €50.00 only for travels to USA, Canada, Mexico.
