If you accidentally cause damage to someone else, Incoming-Liability insurance covers the costs resulting from that damage. Example: You collide with someone while riding your bike and that person gets injured, or you damage a door in your rental apartment. The costs can be very high, especially in cases of personal injury. That’s why Liability insurance is one of the most important types of insurance in Germany. Depending on the coverage level, the Welcome Package Package covers damages ranging from 1 to 3 million euros.

Accident insurance covers the financial consequences if you suffer a permanent disability as a result of an accident. Examples include car accidents and sports accidents. It also covers the costs of rescue or recovery following an accident.

The amount of the benefit depends on the basic disability benefit and the degree of disability you suffer. Example: The basic disability benefit in the Welcome Package M is €15,000, and you suffer a 20% disability. In this case, the benefit is 20% of €15,000, or €3,000. Due to the so-called progression, you receive higher benefits the greater your disability is.

Home Contents Insurance protects your personal property in your home in the event that it is damaged or stolen, for example, due to a fire, water damage, or a break-in. Home Contents Insurance compensates you for the resulting damage. The Welcome Package M covers damage up to €10,000, and the Welcome Package XL covers damage up to €20,000.
