Care College health insurance is tailored to the needs of language school participants, language students, visiting students, scholarship holders, doctoral students and participants in international projects at universities and colleges. Care College also covers the needs of exchange students, e.g. of the ERASMUS, SOKRATES or DAAD programs, and of travelers participating in Working Holiday, Work & Travel, Work & Study programs as well as other further education and study trips abroad. Care College is particularly suitable health insurance for students abroad.
International health insurance can be taken out up to the insured person’s 40th birthday by both foreign students with permanent residency anywhere else in the world during a temporary stay in Germany as well as Austrian and German nationals during a stay abroad anywhere in the world other than in the : USA, Mexico and Canada.

Taking out insurance coverage:

You can take out the international health insurance coverage directly online and, after your application has been reviewed and approved, you will receive your insurance documents by e-mail within a few minutes. You can also use these documents to apply for a visa.
In addition to international health insurance, we also recommend that you purchase a "Care Protector" accident and liability policy. You can do this quite conveniently together with your health insurance under Online Application, for a premium starting at 2.00 EUR per month.
